Types of exhibits: Giant Heart, Your Brain, Sports Challenge, Space Command, Train Factory, Observatory, Fels Planetarium, special exhibits, live demonstrations, hands-on activities for children regarding electricity, machines, earth sciences, physics, flight, and more

Length of visit: Expect to spend a half- to full-day to experience everything, especially if visiting with children.

Admission (as of May 2015):

  • Adults (age 12+): $19.95
  • Children (Ages 3–11): $15.95
  • Free for Children under 3
  • Special exhibits require an additional fee. Tickets are limited and sold on a timed basis. Advance purchase online is recommended.

Hours:

  • Daily 9:30am-5:00pm
  • Special Exhibit evening hours 5:00–9:00pm (last ticket sold at 7:30pm)
  • Closed Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day.
